Hey sweet SA family!!!

So, it's been a while since I'veposted a recipe but I hope that this was worth the wait (we certainly think so around here!). I've never been a big fan of chocolate cake but brownies, now that is some chocolate that I LOVE!!! So when I discovered this recipe for Brownie Batter Parfaits I had to try it out! It's pretty much 3 different versions of a brownie layered on each other (YUM!!!). The original recipe had the dessert made in individual servings but I decided to double the recipe and layer it in a large bowl! Hope yall enjoy it! It didn't last long here in the office!!!  :-)

  • 1 batch of your favorite brownies, cooled and broken into pieces

Brownie Batter Whipped Cream

  • 2 Pints Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 2 Cups Dry Brownie Mix

Egg-Free Brownie Batter

  • 5 Cups Dry Brownie Mix

  • Cup Vegetable or Canola Oil

  • Water


Brownie Batter Whipped Cream

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine whipping cream and dry brownie mix. Using the whisk attachment, beat the cream mixture for 2-3 minutes until it forms stiff peaks.

  2. Set Aside.

Egg-Free Brownie Batter

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the dry brownie mix, oil and cup of water. Stir together until well combined. You may need to add more water to get it to the consistency that you want. (Be careful because you dont want the batter to be runny!)

Assembly Time!!!

  1. Now's the fun part - and this would be a great time to get your kids to help out too! Layer your dish starting with the brownie batter, then the brownie pieces and finally the brownie whipped cream. Repeat until youre out of ingredients!
